Help us identify needs

Do you know an organization supporting families facing pediatric cancer that needs funding?

Do you know a family needing emergency medical funding as a cause from pediatric cancer?

How Your Support Transforms Lives

Through your generosity, we’ve been able to make a meaningful difference. Here’s a look at how our funds have made an impact:

2023: Expanding Our Reach

  • Super Sam #rd Annual 5K and Dash Fund Allocation: We proudly directed funds to four impactful organizations:

    • Children’s Oncology Group

    • Camp iHope

    • Candlelighters NYC

    • C-Squad Foundation (North Texas)

  • “I AM” Campaign: Direct Support: Assisted three North Texas families with essential medical and support needs not covered by insurance.

2022: Growing Impact

  • Super Sam 5K and Dash: Our second annual event directed funds to:

    • Alex’s Lemonade Stand

    • Camp iHope

    • Candlelighters NYC

    • Music Meets Medicine

    • Koenig Childhood Cancer Foundation

  • “I AM” Campaign: This initiative, led by our youngest supporters, raised over $4,000 to support emergency medical needs for families facing pediatric cancer. Notably, funds assisted a young boy in acquiring a prosthetic eye following cancer treatment.

2021: Foundation Beginnings

  • Support Distributed: Generous donations enabled support for four key organizations:

    • Alex’s Lemonade Stand

    • Camp iHope

    • Candlelighters NYC

    • Grief and Loss Center of North Texas

  • Alex's Lemonade Stand

Our donations to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation have been instrumental in advancing pediatric cancer research and providing crucial support to families. With our funding, ALSF has supported over 1,200 hours of research and contributed to an Innovation Grant. This grant accelerates research into childhood cancers by providing critical seed funding for experienced investigators. Such research is vital in exploring promising new treatments and bringing hope to children in need of a cure.

  • Candlelighters NYC

CandleLighters NYC played a vital role in Sam’s journey by offering special memories during the toughest times of his treatment. We continue to support CandleLighters to ensure that other families traveling for treatment can find comfort and friendship. To date, SAPF’s contributions have helped CandleLighters support over 100 families, providing them with essential resources and emotional support.

  • Camp iHope

Thanks to your support, we have provided a summer camp experience to 40 campers through Camp iHope. This organization is close to our hearts, as it’s where Sam’s sister found support and built lasting friendships.  Campers at Camp iHope may be in active treatment for cancer, in remission or may be a sibling to a cancer patient.  All have unique needs and Camp iHope provides a community where they are all accepted, emotionally and medically.  Camp iHope has doctors and nurses on staff ensuring each camper can participate in traditional camp activities such as rock climbing, canoeing, and fishing while being able to gain confidence and independence despite their cancer journey.
